Throughout the start of 2024 I created a refreshed identity for Chessington World of Adventures. Understanding the equity of the iconic sunburst shape within the logo, we incorporated this into a toolkit including unique patterns and icons in order to create a unified brand identity. The refresh is modern, dynamic and adventurous, all while embodying the charm of one of the UK’s most loved theme parks!
A new 3D built logo replaces the older 2D version. It now moves dynamically and works as a transition into and out of content. In addition, the colours are now more vibrant and the white type allows for clarity and modernity in the logo.
I also designed and animated the end frame for the TV advert. This then became a mechanic for the motion toolkit of the brand; the movement between identity and footage. The park have used it for social media and the beginning and ending for videos.
The identity also applied to Chessington's eye-catching summer campaign which I composed and animated. Utilising my newly designed identity system, the digital screens made use of the sunburst as a portal into the world. I also started to implement Chessington's new way of presenting breadth of offer. Having the features emerging out from the sunburst.
