Motion Design

As a personal project inspired by Backrooms (A24, directed by Kane Parsons), I created my own title treatments and typography through a process of experimentation, aiming to capture the film's unsettling, uncanny atmosphere. I explored distorted type, unconventional layouts, and degraded visual textures to create something that felt unusual and quietly disturbing.

Using Adobe After Effects, I developed lo-fi VHS effects inspired by analog video, introducing glitches, noise, and tape imperfections to reinforce the authenticity of the aesthetic and echo the film's found-footage style and filming techniques.
